The XFL will hold its first draft on October 15-16. This draft is completely different from the NFL, which is a good thing. They can’t mimic the NFL, or they will end up losing. So, the XFL has done a sort of fantasy draft.
Each team will draft in a snake order. The first team to get a pick is DC, and the next time they will draft is with the No. 16 pick. This isn’t a free for all either. The XFL is doing their draft in phases. So, phase one will be skill position players which consist of quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends.
