Illinois football has yet to take the interim tag off Coach Bill Cubit so that means there will be constant speculation on the next head coach of the Illini.
Now, I really do hope that Cubit does well this season and finishes with a bowl victory. I like him as a head coach and it seems like the team is really responding to what he has to say.
With that being said, you have to think in the future about the best possible scenarios if Cubit is not retained as the head coach.
