The focus has mainly been on the immediate future. The class of 2017 really has been the class in the spotlight as of late.
But, the class of 2019 is one that John Groce is also focusing on as well. This weekend he took a huge step forward in securing a big time player for 2019.
Point guard Marquise Walker took an unofficial visit to Illinois this weekend and during that visit, Groce offered him a scholarship to come play basketball for the Illini.
