I believe Jalen Coleman-Lands was the last player to suit up for the Illini from the Hoosier State. He was from the Indianapolis area but went up to northwest Indiana and played high school basketball at La Lumiere. But developing a pipeline to the state of Indiana wouldn’t be a bad idea. Luke Goode could be a good start.
Goode is a 6-foot-5, 175-pound shooting guard from Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is rated as a four-star recruit and is the No. 70 player in the class of 2021 and the No. 14 shooting guard in the nation.
