Illinois head coach Brad Underwood announced Wednesday that Mark Alstork has signed a financial aid agreement and will join the Fighting Illini as a graduate transfer.
Alstork is a 6-5, 190-pound guard from Dayton, Ohio. He attended Wright State, earning first-team All-Horizon League honors this past season after ranking third in the league in scoring with an average of 19.0 points. Alstork also averaged 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists and was among conference leaders in 3-point shooting (.387, seventh) and free throw percentage (.846, fourth). He totaled 70 three-pointers on the season, ranking seventh in the Horizon with an average of 2.
