Just 15 years ago we witnessed the final season of the great career of Robert Archibald. He was a monumental piece in a great run in the early 2000’s.
During the Archibald era, Brian Cook also emerged onto the scene.
Cook was more of a hybrid center and forward. He could shoot the ball from three and also post up in the middle. He received the torch from Archibald and raised it to new heights.
James Augustine followed Cook. He had three great years with the Illini that included a National Championship appearance.
