There is a solid chance that the Illini are going to need multiple positions when 2021 rolls around. I have detailed what the No. 1 and No. 2 guard positions will look like. But Illinois could be short on the wing as well. That is where Brandon Weston could come into play.
Weston is a 6-foot-5, 195-pound small forward from Morgan Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. He is rated as a three-star recruit but isn’t ranked nationally yet by the recruiting sites. He is starting to get some solid recruiting attention, though.
Over the past few weeks, Weston has picked a couple more offers and now he has offers from teams like Wake Forest, Seton Hall and UMass, in addition to the one from the Illini.
