Brad Underwood and the Illini coaching staff have done a great job building relationships with a multitude of players. One player who has been on the radar of this coaching staff for quite some time is Nimari Burnett.
Burnett is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound combo guard from Prolific Prep in Napa, California. He is rated as a four-star recruit who is the No. 29 player in the class of 2020 and the No. 3 combo guard in the nation. He is also the No. 6 player in the state of California as well.
Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers had a chance to catch up with Burnett about how his recruitment is going and who is on him the most.
