The Illini have tried to land a few of the bigger transfers on the market, but they haven’t had the best of luck just yet. But they have made the top list for a few of the transfers. The latest recruit they have started to pursue is Ray Salnave.
Coming out of Benjamin Cardozo High School in New York, Salnave wasn’t the most highly rated recruit. He checked in as the No. 291 player in the class of 2016. He did have some solid scholarship offers, though. He picked up an offer from teams like Dayton and DePaul, but he decided to go with Monmouth.
