On Friday morning, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports tweeted out that Holy Cross transfer, Jacob Grandison, will be taking a visit to Illinois next week. This is intriguing news for Illini fans wondering who is going to start filling the open scholarships the next few years.
Grandison attended Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California for most of his high school career. He then had one post-graduate year of basketball where he played for Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. After his lone year with Phillips, Grandison decided to stay on the east coast and picked Holy Cross for his basketball future.
