Illinois basketball has announced the hiring of Adam Fletcher as the program's new strength and conditioning coach. Fletcher replaces Mike Basgier, who recently resigned in order to take a job at James Madison (his alma mater).

Fletcher has filled a similar position at Towson for the last three years while primarily working with their men's basketball, men's lacrosse, and golf programs. Before arriving at Towson, Fletcher spent two years as an assistant strength coach at Michigan.
