Illinois basketball might be back in the running for one of the best point guards in the country.
On Thursday afternoon, Tyty Washington posted on his Twitter account that he had decided to back away from his commitment to Creighton and reopen his recruitment. His quote from the tweet reads as follows.
“After a lot of discussions and talking with my family & coaches, I have decided to decommit from Creighton University, and reopen my recruitment.
