I don’t want to rehash the misses by the Illini but I do want to point out we are now in the top two for a talented European player. It was announced by Evan Daniels of Scout that Elias Valtonen has narrowed his list to just Arizona State and Illinois.
Valtonen will be visiting the Sun Devils this Sunday and then will be heading to Illinois on Tuesday for the official visit in Champaign. These are the only two visits for Valtonen and then he will make a commitment to one of the programs after his visits are complete, according to Daniels.
