Malcolm Hill was just a talented name four years ago when he was being recruited to come play basketball at Illinois.
Hill was rated as a 4-star small forward by Rivals. He was a decently sized kid standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 190-pounds.
Illinois had to snag this talented prospect in 2013 because he was the future of the program and a player who could turn things around.
The Illini landed Hill, who was the 62nd best player in the class of 2013. He didn’t have many scholarship offers because he was from Illinois and he had committed to the program in 2011.
