Illinois is making several changes to the fan experience ahead of what we hope is a 2020 season.
Home football games at Memorial Stadium this season will be limited to 20% capacity with 6 feet of social distancing and reserved seating for all fans. The stadium usually holds about 60,000 fans when it’s sold out — this will limit it to about 12,000 max.
Face coverings will also be required in all public areas at the game, but likely not while you are seated.
Tailgating will also not be allowed, meaning there won’t really be a Grange Grove experience if there is a 2020 season.
