LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Illinois volleyball heads into its much-anticipated home debut against Stanford and former coach Kevin Hambly with a perfect record after the Illini rolled through the Cardinal Classic, capping their stay with a tournament title following Saturday night's 25-18, 25-15, 25-20 win against Louisville.
Jacqueline Quade (13 kills) and Blayke Hranicka (11 kills) led the way offensively for the Illini against the Cardinals.
Illinois started Saturday with a sweep of Western Kentucky, downing the Hilltoppers 25-16, 25-17, 25-13, with Beth Prince notching 12 kills and Ali Bastianelli adding 11 kills.
