All 21 Illinois athletic teams will still see the Nike swoosh on their uniforms, apparel, gear, shoes and specificed equipment and accessories for the next decade.
Illinois extended its partnership with the Beaverton, Ore., company on Tuesday through the 2025-26 school year.
The two have been partners for 20 years and will continue to remain so for the next 10 years.
Financial details of the agreement were not immediately known, but fellow Big Ten schools Michigan and Ohio State recently came to agreements with Nike that saw money extend past the nine-figure range.
Ohio State reportedly agreed to a deal with Nike for 15 years at $252 million, with Michigan switching from adidas to Nike at the price of $169 million through 11 years last year.
