CHAMPAIGN — Illinois' Class of 2018 has been stuck on one since Morgan Park guard Ayo Dosunmu signed in November. More than three months of wondering what the Illini would do next on the recruiting trail to round out its next class.
Dosunmu's alone no more. Alan Griffin, son of former NBA guard now Oklahoma City Thunder assistant Adrian Griffin, announced his commitment to Illinois on Twitter on Friday afternoon.
It will be a return "home" for Griffin, who started his high school career at Oak Park-River Forest when his dad was an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls.
