Georgia came into 2018 with high expectations. Who could blame anyone from pitching the Bulldogs as potential champions? With a bevy of returning talent and Jake Fromm under center, Georgia should be heads and shoulders above the rest of the SEC East. However, its first true road test comes this weekend against South Carolina.
If Georgia is the cream of the crop, the Gamecocks are gaining quick. Junior quarterback Jake Bentley leads a strong South Carolina offense and may have the tools to overtake Georgia early in the season. With a 10-point spread in favor of Georgia, I am taking the Gamecocks to cover and, at very least, test Georgia.
