CHAMPAIGN — The Illinois men's basketball team didn't practice Thursday and used the time instead for film review. That also gave Trent Frazier an extra day to heal after his hard fall Wednesday night in Chicago during the Illini's 77-67 loss to No. 19 Ohio State.
Frazier was still feeling the effects of that fall Friday, but the 6-foot-1 sophomore guard practiced and is expected to play in today's return to nonconference action against UNLV. The Illini (2-7) and Runnin' Rebels (4-3) tip at 1 p.m. at State Farm Center.
"I have a bruised right butt cheek right now," Frazier joked about his tailbone injury.
