Everybody deserves a second chance to get it right. And there is no doubt in my mind that Locklsley has the ability to be a successful head coach. The former Illini assistant has learned from the trainwreck at New Mexico and also picked up a thing or two from college football's best coach, Nick Saban. Locksley's success at Alabama convinced the Terrapins it was time to bring him home. Don't be surprised if the team is competitive immediately.
2. Neal Brown, West Virginia
As a bonus, the Mountaineers also add ex-Illini assistant Vic Koenning as defensive coordinator.
