Our college football writer ranks the Big Ten's all-time best running backs:
1. Archie Griffin, Ohio State
Only two-time Heisman Trophy winner remains among the FBS rushing leaders almost 45 (his college number) years after his career ended.
2. Ron Dayne, Wisconsin
The Heisman winner in 1999 ran for 2,034 yards and 20 touchdowns his final season. He's the No. 2 rusher in FBS history behind San Diego State's Donnel Pumphrey.
3. Red Grange, Illinois
If there had been a Heisman Trophy in 1924 he would have been the runaway winner.
