CHAMPAIGN — Brad Underwood worked for his second-half technical foul Saturday. He wanted it. Already sans suit coat, the Illinois coach jumped all over the officiating crew letting his displeasure in their calls be readily apparent.
Didn't get it.
Underwood even physically blocked one of them for from getting back up court after a dead ball for just a moment. Set a nice little screen.
Still didn't get it.
Kicking the scorer's table? Yeah, that did it.
"I should have got it about 10 minutes earlier," Underwood said. "I don't have the best voice in the world right now, so it's pretty hard to bark at (the officials).
