Ready or not, the first official football practice of the 2015 season is nearly here for Illinois. Tim Beckman’s team will hold split-squad practices on campus each of the next three days before embarking on the team’s 17th trip to Camp Rantoul on Sunday. Quarterback Wes Lunt will get the majority of reps with the starters. Unlike last year, where Beckman wasn’t publicly tipping his hand about if Lunt, Reilly O’Toole or Aaron Bailey would start, there is no questions heading into 2015 about who the starting quarterback is for the Illini.
