CHAMPAIGN — Illinois’ Hope D’Addario was called up to the U23 U.S. National Team for the Four Nations Tournament in the Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg regions of Norway this week. D’Addario, who started as a center back in all 20 matches for the Illini soccer team, had two goals and two assists last fall.
The U23 team is coached by Illinois coach Janet Rayfield. The U.S. plays Sweden on Wednesday, faces Norway on Friday and finishes the tournament against England on Sunday.
