Staying connected
The News-Gazette has had Christian DiLauro chronicle his efforts in prepping for the draft every week since January. The former Illini offensive lineman worked out with the Colts last week and is continuing to hear from teams. "I'm in contact with my agent almost every day right now," DiLauro said. "Things are starting to pick up."
Staying in the mix
Illinois has had a player drafted each of the last two years after a two-year drought in 2014 and 2015. Who keeps the streak going? DiLauro, defensive end James Crawford, cornerback Jaylen Dunlap, wide receiver Malik Turner or running back Kendrick Foster.
