He has thought about playing pro football most of his life. So, of course, Illinois running back Reggie Corbin considered entering the 2019 NFL draft.
"That's a dream," Corbin said. "That's what we're all playing for to get to that level.
"It was very tempting."
After many conversations with his family and coaches, and lots of prayers, Corbin decided to return for his final season.
"Down to the last day, I made the decision," Corbin said.
Corbin said God gave him a sign "telling me I should come back and keep going."
That's a good thing for Illinois offensive coordinator Rod Smith.
