In honor of Selection Sunday, we tracked down some unique indoor places to hoop it up:
Jon Stewart bought the Champaign house where former Illini Coach Lon Kruger briefly lived, which has a beautiful lower-level half-court with nine skylights to make it dazzle.
Before he left to coach the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, Kruger often invited team members and fans over to shoot hoops. Stewart’s family has used it a lot, too.
But for basketball, not so much.
“My kids were more interested in baseball and hockey,” he says.
In fact, his youngest of four sons, Connor, plays fraternity-league hockey at Indiana.
