Coaches' corner: Illinois' Tyra Perry

Each Monday, we get to know some of the men and women who lead athletes in our area. This week — Illinois softball coach Tyra Perry:

What made you want to get into coaching softball?

I had actually completed all of my prerequisites except for one class. I was taking that class in the summer at LSU, and my (softball) coach was named as the head coach at LSU at the time, so she was leaving Nicholls State and wanted me to come with her.
