Brandon Paul scores 15 points during 76ers’ preseason opener

Brandon Paul’s quest for a full-time NBA roster spot with the Philadelphia 76ers continued on Tuesday night with the beginning of the 2016 preseason schedule.

Although he wasn’t in the starting lineup, the former Illini guard netted a game-high 15 points on 6-10 shooting from the field (2-4 3PT) to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Overall, Paul was a +12 in just 13 minutes during the 76ers’ 92-89 victory over the Celtics.

Of course, the main headlines from the game revolved around the professional debuts of former First Round picks Joel Embiid and Dario Saric.
