CHAMPAIGN — Jocelynn Birks’ Illinois career is full of big moments.
Like the night she put down a career-high 28 kills against Northwestern as a sophomore. Or last season when she had 19 kills and just two errors as Illinois handed Penn State an exceedingly rare loss at Rec Hall. Or this year when — again, against Northwestern — she set the Illini record for career kills.
The redshirt senior outside hitter has racked up plenty of accolades, too, from her Big Ten All-Freshman Team selection to three consecutive unanimous All-Big Ten and AVCA All-America honors. And counting.
