Outlook: Elijah Sindelar played perhaps his best stretch of football in the final three games of the 2017 season. He completed 59 percent of his passes and threw for 747 yards, 11 touchdowns and just a single interception.That included a truly dominant performance in the Boilermakers' Foster Farms Bowl victory against Arizona.
And Sindelar did it all with a torn ACL in his left knee. He suffered the injury during Purdue's 10th game of the season at Northwestern, and the Boilermakers were able to keep it secret until they had dropped Arizona in Santa Clara, Calif.
