LOOK OUT, NIKE

The last time Puma had a stake in the elite-level shoe game was its endorsement deal with Vince Carter when he entered the NBA in 1998. That changed this week with first-round NBA draft picks Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III and Michael Porter Jr. all signing shoe deals. A driving force behind Puma's re-emergence among some of the top young players? Look no further than new Puma president of basketball operations Jay-Z.
