No. 29: Darius Mosely, CB/KR
Why he’s important: The junior dealt with a sports hernia most of spring practice, limiting his time on the field. Which he should expect to see quite a bit of this season. Mosely has played in all 25 games thus far during his two seasons with the Illini. Expect the trend to continue, even with V’Angelo Bentley and Eaton Spence likely locking down the two cornerback spots. Mosely has spot starting experience, accumulating five starts the last two seasons, all of which transpired when Bentley went down with various injuries.
