Illinois baseball finished off a three-game sweep of Illinois State with a dominating 12-1 victory on Sunday in front of 661 fans at Illinois Field.

Ben Troike hit his first two home runs of the season for Illinois (17-4) and finished 3 of 5 with three runs scored out of the leadoff spot. Cam McDonald (2 for 5, four RBI) and Grant Van Scoy (3 for 4, two RBI) also hit home runs — their first of the season — to stake the Illini to their early advantage.
