The Fighting Pitinos played miserably in their previous game, getting blown out at home against Virginia. They bounced back in a big way, ending No. 1 North Carolina’s 12-game winning streak with a six-point win Monday night. Damion Lee did the bulk of the heavy lifting for the Cardinals, scoring 24 points and hitting two clutch free throws in the final seconds. Lee, who was held to six points against Virginia, hit 8 of 12 shots against the Tar Heels, including a pair of three-pointers that gave Louisville a late lead.
