Aron Hiltzik will play his final regular-season home match at noon today when the Illini host Minnesota, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Jared, who excelled in his four seasons at Illinois before his career ended in 2016.
Aron's time at Illinois has proved meaningful, too. Even if the limelight hasn't always followed the 6-foot senior from Wilmette, Aron has provided Dancer a constant in his lineup all four seasons, compiling an 86-38 record in singles play during his tenure at Illinois.
