Coming off a big win against No. 7 Penn State, the Illini were looking to sustain the positive momentum and secure another B10 win against Rutgers and make an unexpected bowl game push. Unfortunately, the Illini fell to the Scarlett Knights, 20-14.

Isaiah Williams was finally able to break off a big play this Saturday, scoring on a 51-yard TD pass from Brandon Peters. It was good to see Isaiah use his athleticism to blow the top off the coverage and provide us with a downfield threat in the passing game that we haven’t had all year.
