Illinois apparently likes some length in its receiver corps.
After taking a commitment from Chicago Phillips WR Fabian McCray, Illinois nabbed a commitment from Pflugerville, Texas native Casey Washington on Friday. Washington is a three-star wideout, according to 247.
Washington showed out at the Texas A&M Commerce Camp, and earned an offer shortly afterwards. At 6-foot-2, Washington has great hands and the ability to climb the ladder on high throws.
He had Division I offers from Kansas, Houston Baptist, South Alabama, UTSA and Tulane. He has FBS level game and can create a mismatch in the red zone and on deep throws.
