WTEN Falls in Florida

Miami, Fla.— Down two players, the Vandals eight-game win streak ended in 7-0 loss against Florida International University on Monday.

The Vandals competed at a disadvantage with only having four players to compete. Due to lack of players to compete, Idaho gave up two points to FIU before first serve.

In singles, Senior Maria Tavares played at singles court number one, but dropped the three set match 4-6, 6-2, 10-7. The last five matches were much of the same as Idaho could not recover from the early two-point deficit.

Idaho continues in road trip when the Vandals travel to face Boston University Tuesday at Florida International University.
