St. George, Utah—Idaho women's tennis (12-7, 8-2 Big Sky) concluded the regular season defeating Southern Utah (12-10, 5-5 Big Sky), 6-1, on the road Sunday afternoon.
Idaho earned the No. 2 seed at the upcoming Big Sky Women's Tennis Championship, which is set to begin April 25 in Phoenix, Arizona. As the No. 2 seed, the Vandals receive a bye and begins the journey for its fifth Big Sky Conference title in five years on Friday, April 26 versus the highest remaining seed.
The Vandals started the afternoon strong claiming the doubles point and took an 1-0 lead over the Thunderbirds.
