FARMINGTON, Utah – Anthony Woods and Jermaine Jackson both shined in No. 3 Idaho's 44-36 road win over Eastern Washington, Saturday. For their efforts, the duo was named the Big Sky Conference Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.
Woods had an outstanding day, rushing for 211 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Vandal rushing attack that racked up 363 yards rushing. Woods averaged an outstanding 9.2 yards per carry, including an outstanding 60-yard touchdown run.
Woods passed the 200-yard mark for the first time of his career, but now leads the Big Sky Conference in rushing yards and touchdowns five games into the season.
