Women’s Tennis Topples Redhawks

SEATTLE— Idaho women's tennis (8-3) toppled Seattle University (5-7) with a 6-1 win on Saturday at Jupiter Tennis Courts.

The Vandals dominated doubles landing the point and taking an early to start the match. Idaho took courts one and two to claim the doubles points.

Idaho also owned singles action, defeating the Redhawks at singles No. 5 where Anna Stefani downed her opponent in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Maria Tavares and Marianna Petrei both followed behind winning at courts two and one, respectively. Petrei's win at single No. 1 clinched the match for the Vandals while all other matches ceased play.
