SPOKANE, Wash.—The Idaho women's tennis teams continues competition in day two of the Gonzaga Invitational on Saturday inside the Stevens Center. Eight Vandals collected wins in singles actions, while two pairs collected wins on the day.
Idaho started day two with Marianna Petrei defeating Portland's Lourdes Ramalle 6-0, 6-4. Laura Spataro ousted Anna Oberg of Portland (2-6, 6-2, 6-2), while Maggie Chen edged Emily Soares 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.Marta Magalhães picked up a win against Laura Okazaki of Portland (6-3, 7-6). In her second singles match, Petrei bested New Mexico State's Lindsey Harlas 6-1, 6-1 as Spartaro, Magalhães and Anna Findley found their way into the winners circle.
