STANFORD, Calif.—Freshmen paced all scorers with a 22-point outing as the No. 7 Stanford women's basketball team defeated Idaho, 115-71, on Sunday afternoon at Maples Pavilion in California.
"They're ranked seventh in the country for a reason," said . "I think they are even better than that when you get a chance to play them. They're fast, big and long on the inside as well as the perimeter. They're extremely fast getting up and down the floor, so that was impressive. However, I thought we had some bright spots this afternoon as well."
It was a good outing for the Idaho (1-1) freshmen as all four found their way in scorebook tallying 46 points combined.
