Women Win, Men Second in Montana

WOMEN'S RESULTS | MEN'S RESULTS

MISSOULA, Mont. – Idaho cross country made the quick trip over to Missoula on Friday for the Montana Invitational, with the women winning the team title and the men finishing in second.

The women defeated six other Division I opponents, including three Big Sky schools, and finished with a score of 20. The men were also the top-finishing Big Sky school by defeating Montana, Montana State and Eastern Washington, but falling to Gonzaga. The Bulldogs entered the weekend ranked 8th in the West Region.

The women got things off to a tremendous start, with Kara Story taking the individual title in the 5k.
