HILLSBORO, Ore. – The women's squad raced their way to a fourth-place finish after scoring 109 points while the men's team locked up fifth place (points) to round out Friday's competition at the 2021 Big Sky Cross Country Championships.
Freshman Katja Pattis finished in 10th place to lead the Vandals with a time of 16:55.9 while junior Kelsey Swenson was next in 13th in 17:01.7. Pattis was selected as an all-conference team member following her top-10 finish while also being named the women's Big Sky Freshman of the Year.
