OGDEN, Utah—Junior libero Alycia Wodke was named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week the conference announced on Monday. Wodke's defensive play helped Idaho to a 2-0 start to the conference season, sweeping both Montana schools last week.
Wodke, a transfer from College of Southern Idaho, totaled 37 digs last week in six sets for the Vandals. She led Idaho defensively in both matches. Wodke opened the week with 11 digs in Idaho's quick win over Montana State. She turned around on Saturday and matched her season-high with 26 digs against the Lady Griz.
