PALM DESERT, Calif. - The University of Idaho men's golf team is looking for consistency in its first tournament of the spring season.
"We need to minimize the damage and put up a strong fight and finish well (Sunday)," coach David Nuhn said. "We're having a hard time accepting mistakes. Instead of losing one shot and moving on, we're losing two and sometimes three shots from a bad swing or mistake."
Ryan Porch led the Vandals Saturday when he jumped 10 spots into a into a tie for 27th with a second-round 74 to go with his opening 75.
