MOSCOW, Idaho – Angela Whyte booked her ticket to Rio over the weekend, as the former Vandal will represent Team Canada for the third time in her career. Several other Vandals competed over the weekend, with impressive showings across the board.
Whyte advanced to the final of the 100-meter hurdles at the Canadian Championships and Rio Selection Trials after finishing third in the prelims. She would also take third in the finals among an incredible field of athletes with a time of 13.06 seconds.
Whyte will be competing in her third Olympic Games.
